Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Martin Kramer is a member of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Justus-Liebig-University Giessen/ Germany. He is Head of the Clinic „Small Animal Surgery & Diagnostic; a Dr. h.c. from the Copernicus University in Torun/ Poland and a Dr. h.c. from the Trakia University in Stara Zagora/ Bulgaria. Prof. Kramer has received several awards for his scientific achievements and his exceptional professional commitment. In his research work in the university small animal clinic, Prof Kramer studies particularly the informative value of imaging diagnostics in sick animals with modern cross-sectional imaging methods before, during and/or after surgical interventions. The diagnostic and often new therapeutic or surgical approaches are also evaluated with regard to whether they could serve as models for human diseases.
